Maggie Yaxley Smith

For nearly thirty years she has worked as a counsellor and counselling supervisor and she is a Reiki Master. She is passionate about writing; singing with the Maridadi Choir; walking by the sea and in the forests of the French Pyrenees and spending time with her family and friends. Yaxley is a middle name that belonged to her mother and grandmother both of whom helped her to find her voice as a woman. She has an M.A. in Women’s Studies and is studying for an M.A. in Creative Writing at the University of Kent.
